Leon is in his mid-twenties and terminally ill. He invented a machine to help him upload his mind into a computer, so he won't have to die. This technology, however, will be mankind's downfall, so the freedom fighter Aqua is sent back in time to kill Leon. The two of them fall in love and chaos ensues.
