The 2021/2022 English Premier League season comes to a dramatic finale with a closing day set of fixtures that affected every part of the league table. Joining the guys to review the season and to salute the winners is former Premier League champion and Golden Boot winner Michael Owen. They celebrate the winning coaches: Pep Guardiola of Manchester City, who landed a fourth league title in four seasons, double domestic cup winner Jurgen Klopp of Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur's Antonio Conte, who won a North London battle for Champions League qualification. Closer to home, the Southeast Asian Games football tournament saw host Vietnam beat arch-rival Thailand to the gold medal. The lads discuss that result, as well as the senior national team coaches who doubled up as SEA Games coaches. This week, we're all about winning. Our cast is joined by Champions star Yaya Toure, a Champions League winner with Barcelona, a three-time Premier League winner with Manchester City and a four-time African Player of the Year. He talks to JD and RRR through his career and lays out what it takes to be a complete midfielder. Former Manchester United and Denmark star Peter joins the show to discuss the parenting decisions he had to make and also to share his pride in Kasper's achievements with Leicester City and the national team. John and RRR then take a look at some of David Beckham's famous boot designs celebrating their children. In Southeast Asia, there is a footballing dynasty in the shape of Singapore's Fandi family. The Dutch legend joins John and RRR to discuss the various central defenders who have worn the United shirt since he left and also to answer our viewers' questions on the recent appointment of Erik Ten Haag. Meanwhile, red beat yellow in the Bundesliga's Der Klassiker, as Bayern Munich defeated Borussia Dortmund and sealed a 10th straight league title. However, Bayern's UEFA Champions League quarter-final exit took some gloss off the debut season for coach Julian Nagelsman. The guys discuss his next moves and possible player exits.
