Teddy is een zwendelaar uit New York die op de vlucht is voor de politie. Hij gaat naar Australië waar hij een liftster ontmoet die hem het hoofd op hol doet slaan. Als hij de volgende morgen wakker wordt, blijkt hij met haar getrouwd te zijn en ontmoet hij zijn schoonfamilie.
