Kleine Sofie en haar grote broer Jonathan logeren bij opa in een huis in de afgelegen bossen. Jonathan gedraagt zich als de grote stoere broer die nergens bang voor is. Hij vindt Sofie maar lastig en probeert van haar af te komen. Maar dat Sofie door een gigantisch grote beer meegenomen zou worden, diep in het eeuwenoude en verboden bos achter opa's huis, had hij nooit gewenst. Daarom zal hij haar moeten redden.
