Gabriel (Daniel Grao), een officier van justitie uit Bilbao, krijgt te horen dat zijn zuster Cordelia om het leven is gekomen bij de massale zelfmoord van leden van een sekte op de Canarische eilanden. Hij gaat naar Las Palmas om te onderzoeken wat er met zijn zuster, met wie hij al jaren geen contact had, is gebeurd. Op Las Palmas komt hij in contact met Helena (Juana Acosta), de vroegere geliefde van zijn zuster. Met haar probeert hij het mysterie van de zelfmoord te ontrafelen en stuit op een reeks verontrustende gebeurtenissen.
