Phoenix
Na de Tweede Wereldoorlog keert Nelly Lenz uit een concentratiekamp terug naar Berlijn. Haar gezicht ligt in puin, maar door een gezichtsreconstructie krijgt ze een nieuw gezicht. Ze heeft het vermoeden dat haar man Johnny haar heeft verraden, maar gaat toch naar hem op zoek. Als ze hem vindt herkent hij haar niet terug, en vraagt hij haar of ze zijn vrouw wilt spelen, om zo de erfenis van haar uitgeroeide familie veilig te stellen.
