Jacky Bonnot (Michaël Youn), liefhebber van gastronomie en zeer getalenteerd, droomt van een succesvol en groot restaurant. Helaas heeft hij door zijn financiële situatie nooit een koksopleiding kunnen betalen. Dan ontmoet hij Alexandre Lagarde (Jean Reno), groot chefkok wiens comfortabele positie wordt bedreigd door de aandeelhouders van zijn restaurants.
