Als vliegleider Klaus Schneider tijdens de Eerste Wereldoorlog hoofdverwondingen oploopt, ontdekt de arts zijn bovennatuurlijke gaven. Schneider neemt een artiestennaam aan en heeft veel succes als helderziende, waarbij hij gebeurtenissen voorspelt. Als hij wegens bedrog wordt gearresteerd, helpen zijn hypnotische vaardigheden hem vrij te komen. Niets lijkt zijn succes nu nog in de weg te staan.
