En la posguerra, un sacerdote vasco y sus alumnos fueron el germen del mayor grupo cooperativo del mundo y un referente humano y empresarial a nivel mundial. Sin moverse de Mondragón, Arizmendiarreta creó Fagor, Eroski, o Caja Laboral entre otras muchas empresas e instituciones. Se enfrentó a todos con el único fin de colocar al hombre en el centro de la lógica económica y empresarial.
