Na tien jaar vertoeven in Parijs keert Selma terug naar Tunesië. Daar wil ze een praktijk in psychotherapie openen. Ze wordt echter met allerlei problemen geconfronteerd. Niet alleen moet ze op zoek naar klanten, ook moet ze de gehele papiermolen in orde brengen om überhaupt met haar zaak te kunnen starten.
