Morten is een chef-kok op een groot vrachtschip in de Indische Oceaan. Na een lange reis is hij eindelijk onderweg naar huis om terug te keren naar zijn vrouw en kleine dochtertje. Maar dan wordt het schip aangevallen door piraten, wat het begin is van een zware strijd om te overleven.
