Mais une nuit, le vilain Tourni-Cauchemar vole le sable magique et prend le contrôle du Pays des rêves. Le Marchand de Sable et son fidèle mouton Philibert demandent à Théo de les aider à récupérer le précieux sable, et déjouer ainsi les plans du terrifiant Tourni-Cauchemar.
