Sur la côte de Veracruz, Sebastian, 17 ans, doit reprendre seul la direction du petit motel de son oncle. Il loue les chambres à l’heure à des couples adultères et des amants de passage. Parmi eux, une belle jeune femme, Miranda, vient régulièrement retrouver un homme marié qui lui fait souvent défaut. Pendant ces heures creuses, Sebastian et Miranda font peu à peu connaissance et laissent s’installer entre eux une troublante complicité.
