Quelque part en basse-Autriche ; la session scolaire touche à sa fin et les vacances d’été ne sont pas loin. Paula, dix-sept ans, est secrètement amoureuse de sa copine Charlotte. Mais Charlotte sort avec Michael. Languissant d’amour pour cette dernière, Paula tente d’échapper à ses émotions en flirtant avec Tim qui lui montre de l’intérêt et de l’amour. Mais ses sentiments pour Charlotte sont si forts qu’elle va devoir faire un choix.
