Nona, a Honduran funeral worker wants nothing more than to escape her poor, struggling existence and reunite with her mother in the United States. When she meets the enigmatic traveler, Hecho, she finds in him a means of escape and companionship. But Hecho is not what he seems. NONA tells the tragic story of how hope and longing can lead an innocent young woman down a torturous path, and the dream of a new life may not be worth the journey.
