Chobizenesse
Clément Mastard dirige des revues de music-hall à grand spectacle. Un contrat inespéré l'oblige à renouer avec son ancienne tête d'affiche Célia Bergson, partie s'essayer au théâtre d'avant-garde. C'est par l'intermédiaire de celle-ci qu'il fait la connaissance de Jean-Sébastien Bloch, musicien incompris qui causera sa perte mais au côté duquel Mastard, l'homme sans scrupules, s'humanisera et finira par produire un véritable chef d’œuvre, la Messe en ré.
