Bruno Calgani rentre en France après avoir passé 5 ans dans un pénitencier américain pour usage et trafic de drogue. Il souhaite effacer son passé, mais ne cesse de penser à sa mère morte durant sa détention. Il décide de revoir son père ouvrier de chantier mais celui-ci n'est pas très accueillant.
