Les deux personnages principaux, Karine et Patrick, deux jeunes trentenaires très amoureux, doivent encaisser la faillite de leur restaurant. Pour se remettre de leur échec, ils s’installeront dans le sous-sol du bungalow des parents de Karine. «C’est temporaire!», promettront-ils à leurs hôtes. Mais… si le séjour se prolongeait?
