Melanie ist Mitte 30 und bei der brandenburgischen Polizei. Ihr Revier: Das flache Land nördlich von Berlin. Melanie mag, wenn man sie mag, und wenn es politisch wird, hält sie sich raus. Doch das ist nicht immer leicht, wenn sich in ihrem Heimatdorf ausgerechnet ihre beste Freundin Lydia mit rechten Slogans wichtigmacht und über Nacht eine Straße verschwindet.
