Af banen!
David er 13 år, og efter forældrenes skilsmisse er det hans far, Torben, der kører ham til fodboldtræning. Men David er langt fra stolt af sin arbejdsløse far, de, efter en karriere som superligaspiller, nu er rykket ned på tilværelsens 2. hold. Uheldigvis for David bliver hans fars tilbudt at træne drengeholdet, hvor David spiller, da deres faste træner - den diktatoriske Lennart - bliver fisket af ærkerivalerne i Brøndby. David og de andre drenge er ikke trygge ved den nye situation.
