Mat og Franck har begge gjort karriere indenfor politiet, men ingen af dem håndhæver loven med særlig entusiasme. Franck benytter sin stilling som narkobetjent til at videresælge konfiskeret narko og Mats alkoholmisbrug forkludrer hans arbejde. Da Franck findes myrdet forsøger Mat at styre efterforskningen, men hans private dæmoner kommer i vejen.
