De standhaftige
Militærmanden Thomas er blevet hårdt såret i Afghanistan, og tilbage i Danmark træner han stålfast flere timer om dagen, så han kan vende tilbage til livet som soldat. Under genoptræningen møder han balletdanseren Sofie, og de fatter sympati for hinanden. Thomas opdager, at Sofie ved noget om kroppen, han ikke ved, og da hun tager ham med til ballet, bliver han fascineret af miljøet, musikken, dansen - og af Sofie. Problemet er bare, at Thomas har en kæreste, Nina, som han skal giftes med.
