Als sich Kellner Ilir (Guillaume Gouix) den betrunkenen Kneipengast Paulo (Matila Malliarakis) ins Bett legt, weiß er noch nicht, wen er sich da in sein Leben geholt hat. Schon wenig später gibt der anhängliche Paulo Freundin und früheres Leben auf und steht bei Ilir auf der Matte. Eine Romanze beginnt, zärtlich, leidenschaftlich und verspielt. Aber an dem Tag, an dem sie beschließen, für immer zusammen zu bleiben, verlässt Ilir die Stadt und kehrt nicht mehr zurück.
