Una fría noche el joven Robert (Vincent Carder) regresa a París en coche cuando, por el camino, se encuentra a una chica medio desnuda en la calle. La misteriosa joven, Elisabeth (Brigitte Lahaie), ha perdido la memoria y no sabe lo que ha pasado. Robert acaba por enamorarse de ella y, poco a poco, se verá sumergido en una espiral de sadismo y muerte.
