Mitra
37 jaar nadat haar dochter Mitra in Iran is vermoord, leidt Haleh nu een succesvol, maar rustig bestaan in Nederland. Alles wordt overhoopgehaald wanneer wordt vermoed dat Leyla, de verraadster van Mitra, opduikt. De vrouw woont pas sinds kort in Nederland en is nu zelf een liefhebbende moeder. Ze lijkt Haleh niet te herkennen; is dit Leyla wel? Met hulp van haar broer Mohsen probeert Haleh achter de waarheid te komen.
