In a seaside village where nothing exciting ever happens, 14-year old Lulu is longing for adventure. She is an expert in the occult and wishes that ghosts and spirits were for real. But be careful what you wish for. Lulu's younger brother is possessed by the spirit of a man long dead, a man who fought evil in the 19th century. She must seek help from the only two people who believe her Oliver, a rich kid scared of his own shadow, and Richard, a disillusioned scientist of the paranormal. Together they are thrown into a battle against the forces of darkness to uncover the secrets hidden on the Island of Lost Souls.
