Kristin doesn't really feel like having a birthday party. Forty and single! What is there to celebrate? Then she is given a lost suitcase that her closest friend, Lenny, has bought for her from an airport auction. Of all things, it is this that signals the start of the adventure of her life. She finds love letters that are beautiful enough to make her cry, and so Kristin dives helter-skelter into a search for the lovers who have experienced such feelings. A romantic comedy with a lot of refreshing moments enriching everyday life.
