The ThunderCats' search for the next stone leads them high above Thundera to the floating bird city of Avista. The Birds possess the Tech Stone but have no intention of handing it over to the Cats as it's the power source for their city. The stakes are high when Tygra challenges the birds' leader, Vultar, to an aerial battle where the winner gets the stone.
24. The Soul Sever

While trying to uncover the location of the next stone, the ThunderCats cross paths with a mad man, Soul Sever, who is trying to insert the souls of his long-lost family into machines. When Soul Sever steals the Book of Omens in pursuit of this goal, Lion-O risks being turned into one of his mechanical monstrosities.

When Mumm-Ra unleashes the deadly Sycorax upon them, the ThunderCats must turn to an unlikely savior a snake oil salesman named Ponzi whose potion is the only thing that repels the beast. Ponzi also provides Lion-O some helpful romantic advice as he begins to pursue Pumyra.

Kit and Kat follow Tookit into his magical Forever Bag - a seemingly normal bag that is infinitely big on the inside - where they meet a group of orphans. Seduced by the fun-loving lifestyle of Tookit and the orphans, Kit and Kat are tricked by Tookit into becoming thieves again. Now they must turn the tables on the charming rogue Tookit or end up in jail.

As Lion-O and Pumyra try to evade Mumm-Ra and his forces in the mines of Mount Plundarr in an effort to keep the Sword of Plundarr out his hands, we flash back in time and discover its origin … and its relationship with the Sword of Omens.

The ThunderCats must infiltrate the mines of Mount Plundarr where Ratar-O is holding Cats as slaves. There they learn the legend of the Sword of Plundarr, which they must now retrieve while also freeing their people.
19. The Pit

Lion-O and company come upon a Dog City where they unexpectedly find a cat: Pumyra. This comes as a surprise since they believed all the cats were enslaved by Mumm-Ra, but an even greater surprise is that this cat has no love for Lion-O and, in the end, he's forced to face the cat down in a death match - and she's not pulling any punches. Meanwhile, Panthro runs into an old friend turned enemy, Dobo.
18. Survival of the Fittest

While Tygra and Lion-O search for a mountain pass, Panthro, Cheetara, WilyKit and WilyKat stay in the woods. Panthro and Cheetara decide it's time for the kids to learn some hunting skills. In the process, Kit and Kat flash back to reveal how they began to live on their own and separate from their family, and it turns out these two cubs have sacrificed more than the ThunderCats could imagine.
17. Native Son

While traveling through snowy mountains in search of safe passage, Tygra and Lion-O come upon a lost tiger village and in it they find Tygra's real father. Tygra learns why his father sent him away as a baby - to save his life. But all is not as it seems in this village as the brothers learn these tigers are cursed and Tygra may be the answer to saving them - but at the cost of his own life.
16. Trials of Lion-O, Pt. 2

The other cats remain trapped in Mumm-Ra's Pyramid and, believing Lion-O is dead, attempt to escape to prevent Mumm-Ra from getting the Eye of Thundera out of the sword. Lion-O has two trials left: Panthro and Tygra, but he fails to defeat the latter. Pleading for a chance to save his friends, Jaga grants him life until sunrise to try and save his friends … and stop Mumm-Ra.
15. Trials of Lion-O, Pt. 1

Mumm-Ra's generals stage an ambush and, while the other Cats are captured, Lion-O falls to his death. Thanks to the Spirit Stone, he encounters Jaga in the Astral Plane and is given a second chance at life. If he is able to pass a series of trials that pit him against each of his teammates, he can win back his life and save the other Cats. First up are Kit and Kat, followed by Cheetara. But the clock is ticking because Mumm-Ra has the Sword of Omens!
14. New Alliances

The ThunderCats go on the offensive taking down Mumm-Ra's lizard army piece by piece. Lion-O appeals to the soldiers to turn against their overlord, but Mumm-Ra won't see his army crushed so easily. He tasks Slithe with recruiting two new and vicious Generals - Addicus and Kaynar - to retaliate against the Cats. Meanwhile, the Robear Berbils make Panthro a new set of robotic arms and trick out the Thundertank.
13. Between Brothers

Tygra and Lion-O enter the Astral Plane to retrieve the stone, but encounter Mumm-Ra in the process. Grune and Panthro have their final duel. Cheetara finally chooses her beau.
12. Into the Astral Plane

The Cats are ready to retrieve the stone from the "Astral Plane" in the Elephant Village, but find it overtaken by Grunea and Mumm-Ra's forces. Plus, Tygra and Cheetara's early relationship to one another is revealed.
11. The Forest of Magi Oar

Sent by the Elephants to the Forest of Magi Oar, Lion-O must learn to master Sight Beyond Sight before returning to the Elephant Village. The Cats encounter a group of paper warriors with a dark secret.
10. Sight Beyond Sight

The Cats track the location of the first stone to the mystical Elephant Village, but Lion-O can't find the specific location and the forgetful Elephants no longer remember where it is. Lion-O must learn to use Sight Beyond Sight and interpret the consequences of his actions when he inadvertently invites an attack on the village.
9. Berbils

Tiny robot bears solicit the help of the ThunderCats to save them from a slave trader who values their technical and construction skills. The Cats help to rescue enslaved Berbils and defend their village. Panthro learns that's he's not the only "wrench monkey" and bonds with Robear Bill.
8. The Duelist and the Drifter

While traveling through a village built on swordsmanship, Lion-O's cockiness loses him the Sword of Omens to the Duelist, a villainous sword-collector. With the help of the listless Drifter, Lion-O must get it back.
7. Legacy

Lion-O ventures into the Book of Omens where he becomes the incarnation of his renowned ancestor, the valiant Leo, who led the rebellion against Mumm-Ra in a previous millennium. In this landmark episode, we learn the origin of the Stones of Power and the Cats' relationship to Mumm-Ra and the other animals.

The Cats must pass a series of obstacles in order to finally get the Book of Omens, but Mumm-Ra is hot on their trail. Lion-O must stop him from getting the book first, for the book will lead whoever finds it to the Stones of Power.

Panthro finally joins the team, but his gruff demeanor intimidates Lion-O. Despite his best efforts, Panthro can't dissuade the Cats from following him on a mission to get Thundrillium to fuel the Thundertank. Plus, a mission leads Panthro to his old nemesis: Grune!
