In this sleek, suspenseful thriller, champagne mogul Christine (Yvonne Furneaux) tries to persuade her business partner, Paul (Maurice Ronet), to sell his valuable champagne company. Despite pressure from Christine, Paul is reluctant to hand over the rights. Soon after, several women with connections to Paul are found dead, and he becomes the main suspect. Paul fears he might be losing his mind, but Christine and her husband Christopher (Anthony Perkins) may well be framing him to seize control of the company.
