Juste avant son mariage, Lisa plaque son fiancé infidèle, Max, et prend le bus direction l'aéroport pour quitter l'Afrique. Le destin veut que son ancien amoureux, Vic, venu ici avant elle cinq ans plus tôt, voyage dans ce même bus. Il détient incognito le Nuage d'Anamanga, un diamant légendaire. Mais le car est attaqué et la pierre tant convoitée est dérobée.
