La tigre Natacha un giorno ha salvato un uovo dalle mire distruttrici del suo perfido rivale Igor. Da quell'uovo è nato un pinguino, Maurice, che, debitamente dipinto, ha sempre pensato di poter essere una tigre. Se la madre e i suoi compagni sono stati in passato i difensori della foresta e ora si sono ritirati ora Maurice pensa che tocchi a lui e a un gruppo non troppo ben assortito di amici prendere il loro posto.
