Javier es un artista plástico de 55 años, su vida transcurre sin sobre saltos. Sin embargo, ha emprendido un extraño proyecto: filmar a su madre. Javier no es cineasta, e improvisa esta tarea. Sin embargo, sus ojos de artista e hijo, necesitan mirarla y registrarla. Esta filmación no sólo será el registro de ella, sino también, del encuentro de Javier con su madre, una mujer única.
