Daniel agrees to accept at home young Julia, the daughter of a childhood friend who has just committed suicide. Laura, his wife, makes efforts to help Julia regain her will to live. Daniel begins to feel threatened by some of the child’s actions, which awake on him fears and feelings he thought were buried in the past.
