Pelle, morso anni prima da una formica scappata da un laboratorio e trasformato da essa nel supereroe Antboy, è già un adolescente. In piena estate, si sta godendo la vita con la fidanzata Ida e si è stancato di avere poteri speciali, tanto più che tutto sembra essere tornato alla normalità nel suo paese. Improvvisamente, però, iniziano ad accadere strane cose e un nuovo eroe si profila all'orizzonte, umiliando completamente Antboy. La vacanza estiva si trasforma così in un campo di battaglia e Pelle sarà costretto ad affrontare la sua sfida più grande.
