Mayessa, an indie film director, is egged to direct her first romantic comedy film. Unable to create a new story, she pitches in her personal tale of love and heartbreak with her ex-boyfriend, Paolo. The plot of Mayessa's film revolves around the lead characters Issa and Drei's discovery of their respective partners’ betrayal. After learning that Issa's boyfriend is going to ask for the hand of Drei's girlfriend, Issa and Drei plan to foil the proposal. Luck is not on their side, however, as they encounter one problem after another. As she shoots her film, Mayessa revisits her funny and painful moments with Paolo. Thinking that everything will be over once she wraps up the shoot, Mayessa is surprised to see Paolo during her film's premiere night.
