Spirou, ladrón disfrazado como mensajero de hotel, hace una amistad con Fantásio, un periodista competitivo. Con el tiempo, ellos se juntan en grandes aventuras, pero el Conde Pacôme de Champignac es secuestrado por los hombres de Zorglub.
