Cuatro matemáticos, que no se conocen entre sí, son invitados por un misterioso anfitrión con el pretexto de resolver un gran enigma. Pronto descubren que se encuentran en una sala que empieza a menguar y que corren el riesgo de morir aplastados entre sus paredes.
