Todd asks Tandy for parenting advice when he notices that Jasper is acting more reckless than usual. Meanwhile, Carol and Erica realize that Jasper may be the only potential suitor for their babies and begin vying for his attention.

When the women point out Tandy’s constant usage of “guys” when addressing them, he vows to alter his vernacular and prove that he’s a feminist. They remain skeptical, but Tandy doubles down as usual and goes too far. Feeling left out of the parenting realm, Todd attempts to bond with Jasper, who Melissa suggests is in need of a father figure. Todd worries that he’s not cool enough to relate to Jasper and struggles to connect with him. Meanwhile, Carol feels the sting when her surrogate mom Gail spends more time with Erica and Dawn than with her and the twins. Carol points out that she and the twins are Gail’s family, while Erica is merely her girlfriend – which has unintended consequences.

Carol surprises everyone by having what she dubs a “sleep birth” - her baby simply slipped out of the womb and onto the bed during the night. Todd immediately catches baby fever, and begins to question he and Melissa’s decision to remain childless. Knowing how Melissa feels, he decides to surreptitiously become Dawn’s official babysitter. When Carol starts to feel unwell, Gail discovers that she is carrying twins and the other baby still needs to be delivered! Worried for Carol and the baby’s safety, Gail makes a plan of action, but Tandy and Carol are determined to let the birth occur naturally.
5. La Abuela

Unbeknownst to them, the gang has chosen a mansion previously owned by a vicious cartel leader, known as La Abuela. While an overzealous Carol forces Tandy to baby-proof every sharp corner in the their new home, Jasper goes exploring and comes upon an old relic of the cartel’s that could prove to be quite dangerous. Meanwhile, Melissa is matching Carol’s over protective behavior by forcing Todd to wear a helmet and use a wheelchair in order to avoid any overexertion – which pushes Todd to his breaking point. An exasperated Tandy forces Carol to admit to what is truly behind the excessive babyproofing. And Gail and Erica attempt to find a cure for Dawn’s colic, with surprising results.

With the departure of Glenn and Pamela back to the U.S., Todd and Melissa on their honeymoon, and Gail and Erica deciding to strike out on their own for a bit, Carol becomes distraught. Missing Gail, Carol and Tandy pay an impromptu visit to her cottage only to find she and Erica hosting Melissa and Todd for dinner. Carol is hurt and angry and further convinced that living apart will be the group’s undoing. She and Tandy play a prank on the others to show them the error of their ways. The plan backfires and causes the others to retaliate. An incensed Carol and Tandy opt for radio silence, and it’s Todd who may pay the ultimate price when his pleas for help are assumed to be another prank.
3. Skeleton Crew

After Glenn convinces the gang not to leave Pamela on the island, she is determined to redeem herself with the group. While everyone else rebuffs her offers of friendship, Glenn takes pity on her and shows her kindness. As they resume their voyage to Zihuatanejo, with Glenn at the helm, Todd and Melissa talk excitedly of how everyone is going to love it and throw a Mexican themed party in celebration. But when they arrive, it’s immediately clear that Zihuatenejo was hard hit by the virus, and the effects of it are everywhere. Glenn is especially affected by the devastation and takes it out on Pamela. Todd, for his part, continues to sing the praises of Zihuatanejo, though it’s obviously not the paradise he’d expected.
2. Stocko Syndome

While Tandy attempts to escape captivity, Pamela tells him that given enough time Stockholm Syndrome will take affect and he’ll fall in love with her. This gives Tandy and idea - and he plays along, hoping to give the impression that he’s under her spell.As the rest of the gang takes stock of their situation, they come face to face with Glenn, a castaway who has been stranded on the island for five years and has no idea of the virus that decimated the human population. He regales everyone with stories of his family back home and can’t wait to be reunited with them. No one has the heart to tell him the truth, until a desperate Carol realizes that full disclosure is the only way to get him to see how dire their situation is. And just as everyone is losing hope, it’s Glenn who takes action and saves the day.

As the gang is fleeing the nuclear fallout by sea, they are ambushed by their nemesis Pat aboard their Yacht. Thankfully, Pamela is right behind him and saves the day. Grateful for her help, the gang warmly accepts her into their midst. She brings them up to speed on how she discovered them via the drone, came across Pat and eventually found them.
