Zwei wortkarge Männer stoßen in einem gestrandeten Raumschiff aufeinander. Adem ist gerade aus dem Gefängnis ausgebrochen. Sein Verfolger Novak soll ihn wieder zurückbringen. Als der aber erkennt, dass das Schiff keineswegs fluguntauglich ist, desertiert er. Gemeinsam entkommen sie mit ihrer Rostlaube ins Weltall und machen sich auf die Suche nach einem neuen Zuhause.
