Melanie ist bei der brandenburgischen Polizei und bezeichnet sich als unpolitisch. In ihrem Heimatdorf nördlich von Berlin macht sich ausgerechnet ihre beste Freundin Lydia als Influencerin mit rechten Slogans wichtig und reitet auf der braunen Welle. Und als Lydias Anhänger nicht nur zahlreicher, sondern auch gewaltbereiter werden, muss die Ordnungshüterin Melanie einen Standpunkt entwickeln.
