Simon Wolberg (François Damiens), mayor of a small provincial town, knows more about American soul music than what is happening in his family. His wife is becoming distant, his daughter is soon to leave the nest, his son is angry, and his brother-in-law is drifting through life. Soon, private worlds collide.
