Die Lehramtskandidatin Valentine läßt sich kurz vor dem Examen auf einen Flirt mit dem Musiker Eduard ein. Nach der gemeinsam verbrachten Nacht zieht sie sich zum Büffeln zuirück, während Eduard mit seiner Band auf Frankreich-Tournee geht. Die Liebe führt die beiden unterschiedlichen Charaktere trotz Stress und Terminschwierigkeiten wieder zusammen, und am Ende schafft die Studentin ihre Abschlußprüfung trotz aller Hindernisse.
