In der römischen Kolonie, Rahatlocum, in Nordafrika geht's drüber und drunter. Als Ben-Hur Marcel bei einer Demonstration verhaftet wird, wird er vor die Wahl gestellt: ein Ende in der Arena oder ein Attentat auf Caesar während dessen Besuchs in der Kolonie zu verüben.
