Die Studentin Anne ist Mitte Zwanzig und lebt in Leipzig. An einem sommerlichen Tag lässt sie sich alleine in ihrem Alltag treiben. Auf dem Weg durch ihr Viertel trifft sie immer wieder auf einen Unbekannten. Am Ende des Tages kommt Anne nicht umhin zu fragen: „Kennen wir uns“?
