Paris, 2045. Die Bevölkerung der Hauptstadt wird von einer künstlichen Intelligenz namens Alma überwacht und in drei Zonen unterteilt. In jeder Zone ist die gleiche soziale Schicht vertreten. Eines Tages wird der Schöpfer der KI ermordet. Die Ermittlungen werden Salia, einer Polizistin aus Zone 2, und Zem, einem Polizisten aus Zone 3, anvertraut.
