My Father. My Uncle.
Mein Vater. Mein Onkel (original)
"You get an email with photos and then someone you do not know says he's your brother and the people in the photos are your parents." Sinan lives and works as an actor in Berlin when one day he receives an e-mail from his biological brother. His Iraqi family found the 26-year-old - who grew up in Germany with his adoptive mother - via the Internet and now wants to get to know the "lost son". After years of separation, Sinan finally meets his parents and siblings in Dubai. For the family a long search comes to an end. In addition to unconditional and unrestricted love Sinan is also confronted with expectations... "My Father. My Uncle." shows with much humour the clash of two cultures within a family.
