Zoo Lock Down
What is a zoo if there are no people to witness the animals? Austrian filmmaker Andreas Horvath (HELMUT BERGER, ACTOR) surveys the early days of the pandemic through the surreal perspective of the bears, foxes, lemurs, flamingos, lions, rhinos, and piranha at the Salzburg Zoo. These micro-stories from the pavilions, enclosures and terraria reflect Horvath's eccentric sense of humor through surprising edits, a playful sound design, and a score that alternates between whimsical and suspenseful.
