Anton fährt mit seiner Mutter Luzia und ihrem neuen Freund Paul zum Bungalow-Urlaub an die französische Atlantikküste. Der Internatsschüler Anton leidet dabei immer noch sehr unter dem Selbstmord seines Vaters und hat ein schwieriges Verhältnis zu den beiden Erwachsenen. Vor Ort lernt er das Herumtreiberpärchen David und Katja kennen, dessen seltsamem, manipulativem Spiel er bald verfällt. Dabei werden nach und nach nicht nur seine seelischen Abgründe schmerzhaft offengelegt.
