Als schon wieder ein toter älterer Herr aus der Themse gefischt wird, ist Inspektor David Perkins überzeugt, dass die Gorilla-Bande wieder aktiv ist. Auf einer Puppe, die man bei der Leiche findet, entdeckt man Schriftzeichen einer afrikanischen Sprache.
