Paulette ist eine ruppige 80-jährige Dame, die weiß, was sie will, und auch, was sie nicht will. Dass sie ganz allein in einem zwielichtigen Pariser Vorort lebt, kann sie nicht schrecken. Nur ihre allzu schmale Pension bringt Paulette immer wieder auf die Palme.
